Do you have a story to tell, wisdom to impart, strategies to share,
or a perspective to pass along?
Have you tried writing your magnum opus and ended up with nothing but notes?
Do you have a draft that’s so rough (or incomplete) you’re embarrassed to admit it exists?
Maybe you have a more polished manuscript but can’t fathom writing the book proposal you need to secure an editor or agent.
Wherever you are in your non-fiction book journey, I’ll meet you there.

Wherever you are in your non-fiction book journey, I’ll meet you there.
Here’s how we’ll partner to create the book of your dreams, together.
If you need a (very friendly) ghostwriter …
Step 1: You talk. I listen. And research.
This “Getting to Know You” phase includes video calls, reviewing existing materials, including your manuscript (or random notes), and anything else you’d like to share.
Step 2: I organize. You review.
I transform conversations and research into a cohesive book structure, organized into chapters that highlight your ideas, stories, themes, and strategies.
Step 2b. I write your book proposal
Traditional/hybrid publishers and agents require a comprehensive proposal that includes a book overview, a detailed chapter index, a marketing plan, a sample chapter, and more. Want me to research potential publishers and agents and even pitch the book on your behalf? No problem.
Step 3: Let the book writing begin!
What’s hard for you is fun for me. We establish our own process for writing, reading, giving feedback, and revising.

From noodling on a seed of an idea to having a fully edited manuscript (and any stage in between), we’ll strategize to ensure your idea, book, and/or proposal is publication-ready so it finds the home it deserves.
Let’s talk!
My clients say the nicest things!
“I appreciate your expertise, guidance, and knowledge, and your flexibility, integrity, and honesty (especially when challenging me). My editor said you did a fantastic job writing the manuscript. Willow, you’re simply the BEST!”

“Willow is THE BEST. She EATS writing assignments for breakfast and gives you lots of options (when you want ‘em) or streamlines to the solution (when you just need the job done). She’s also just a complete pleasure to work with. A true collaborator with a great attitude and a wonderful sense of humor.”
John Kovacevich
Founder & Creative Director at Agency SOS
“In blogs, newsletters, and other strategic content … Willow nails our voice and messaging, and she turns scratch notes and ‘brain dumps’ into clear, compelling copy, every single time. Plus, she’s thoughtful, efficient, and really fun to work with!”
Kristen Ireland
Co-founder, People Spark Consulting
“I worked with Willow on creating a 40-page book, chronicling the history of a local artisan winery. Her skill in making sense of 40 years of history, snippets of info, and disparate anecdotes is both admirable and inspiring. She is also a truly delightful human being and made collaboration fun and rewarding.”

Associate Creative Director of Content at Duncan Channon
“The best thing about working with Willow is the joy, pride, and confidence I feel from being able to create a meaningful body of work. I totally trust Willow to help me articulate and share my insights, and she has turned a process that I dread into something I truly enjoy.”
